It’s always great to get to work with a friend and capture their special day for them and it was a true pleasure to say “yes” when Zoe asked me to share her and Jason’s special day in Gaddesby.
Zoe has been a friend for a few years now as we both play in the same brass band, the Langley Band. I’ve also known Jason for almost as long so it really was great to be able to share their day with them!
Zoe and Jason were married on Saturday at St Lukes Church in Gaddesby, Leicester. Zoe’s mom and dad live in Gaddesby so it made perfect sense and was a lovely touch to have their reception at home in a marquee. The church was only a short walk from the house where Zoe was getting ready so everything was very close and very intimate – and we were very lucky with the weather too!
Here are just a few of my favourites from the day, the stunning Bellissimo album should be here very soon!!

What a gorgeous traditional village church Gaddesby in Leicester is.

What a great way to prepare on your wedding morning – take the dog for a walk!

Definitely the star of the show!!

After spending a short time relaxing with Zoe and the girls at the house is was of to the pub with the boys!

I think this sequence of Jason and Kelly are great – Kelly truly is a nutter!!

I’d got up the road ahead of the bridal party after taking the confetti shots and it was definitely worth it as I love this shot of everyone walking through the village, framed perfectly by the trees…

See what I mean about Kelly!!

Unfortunately I had to leave the party early due to an early start the next day but I know everyone had a fanastic time and it truly was a pleasure to be able to capture one of my friends special days. Gaddesby is a lovely village and it was a superb place to photograph a wedding.
