A couple of days ago I was in Perry Barr photographing a store opening for AFBlakemore and the SPAR Group.
The store is part of a new Texaco garage, and the family has spent a great deal of money cleaning up the site and have spent millions reversing the damage that had been created on the site from the previous industrial usage. The site was heavily contaminated down to ground-water-level but this damage has now been cleaned up and so the whole community around Perry Barr will benefit from the great work the family has done.
The Mayor of London officially opened the store and we managed to get a great coverage for the family and the company.
