After a fantastic weekend at Silverstone it was great to get back to work – and Sue and Gareth were an absolutely great couple to work with!
Sue and Gareth booked me for their wedding at Trentham Church and Weston Hall following a recommendation from a very good friend and photographer – Ray Walker from Great Haywood, Staffordshire. It’s always helpful and also very important to look after your fellow photographers and also other suppliers within the wedding industry and as we have a similar approach and style, plus the pub in Ray’s village is fantastic!!, so we always try and help each other when we’re booked.
Saturday morning started at Sue’s lovely parents house in the village of Trentham. Sue had already been to the hairdressers with the girls before returning to the house and everything was so relaxed and chilled. It was great to get to meet the girls and Sue’s parents and just relax and capture the start of the day with them…

The detailing on the stunning Ian Stuart dress from Wedding Times in Dorchester was absolutely stunning.

See what I mean?

The bouquets from The Topiary Tree looked absolutely perfect for what Sue wanted. Very elegant and the colours were stunning…

Ready prepared for a stunning English summer day – pink patterned wellies!!

Now that is a fierce little expression…

Sue looked absolutely stunning in her dress.

And I do believe that’s the expression of a very proud dad!

The boys scrubbed up okay too it must be said. The Moss Bros Suits definitely doing the trick!

I have a distinct feeling Gareth was quite happy when he saw Sue for the first time!

What a lovely church…

I think the car from Williamsons fitted the image of Weston Perfect, along with Sue’s colour scheme.

What a great spot for a big group shot!

Thankfully although Sue was very prepared for the wet-weather we were blessed with stunning sunny weather all day long…

As a lovely touch, Sue had invited her old piano teacher from when she was a child to be the pianist for the wedding breakfast. She was so happy to see him when we went into the room, and she could also remember how to play a little bit too!

What a stunningly different cake Carol Gregory created for Sue and Gareth.

Lord of the manor!

The first dance was gate-crashed – though judging from how happy they both were I don’t think they cared!!

Thank you for letting me share your day with you both – it was an absolute pleasure. I can’t wait to give you your stunning Bellissimo album – and the beautiful little 8×6 Replica Albums for your Mom and Dad too!!
