On Saturday we kicked of the 2010 Stuart James wedding season with a beautiful wedding at St Chads Church in Lichfield with the reception at the ever popular Moat House.
Fortunately the weather was very kind to us and we had a great time photographing Sian and Tim’s wedding. It was also the first time Beki had come out on a wedding with me for a while and I think she definitely enjoyed it! Quite a number of Beki’s shots have made it into the final edit and I’ve posted a few of my favourites here.
St Chads Church, right by Stowe Pool in Lichfield, in-sight of the Cathedral, is a beautiful church and one I can’t wait to be back to – especially now I’m friends with the Verger :o)
Here are a few of my favourites from the wedding, hope you enjoy:

The boys certainly scrubbed up well in their suits from Formal Affair in Sutton Coldfield. Beki got a couple of awesome shots of the girls later on – scroll down to see!

I love this shot Beki got of the guys:

Meanwhile I was a little bit closer to them:

I saw grandad poking his head out of the door and I just couldn’t resist getting this one:

The Bridesmaids looked suitably cute in their dresses from Red Rose in Sutton:

Sian didn’t look a bit nervous as she arrived…

The Maggie Sottero Dress from Mix-n-Match Bridalwear in Rugeley looked stunning on Sian.

I love Sian’s expression on this one:

What great vibrant colours:

There’s nothing wrong with a classic shot now-and-again:

I’m always a sucker for church doorway silhouettes!

What a cute little grab shot Beki captured whilst I was photographing the family shots on the Church doorway!

I love how kids are fascinated by Confetti!

The Rolls Royce from Elegance cars looked sublime.

Another of Beki’s:

Unfortunately another wedding was outside at the top of the grounds when I took Sian and Tim outside following on fmor the few family group shots we did so instead we made the most of the bottom part of the lake…and it still looks amazing!

This shot looks slightly different from the last time I took it on Amy and David’s September wedding:

I love the clear lighting you get in Spring. This one is another of Beki’s:

I love how different people see things so differently through a camera… This one here is Beki’s:

This is mine… not sure which one I prefer?!

Actually I think I absolutely lurve this one:

We had oodles of time on Saturday so after taking Sian and Tim around the grounds I was able to let them relax again with their friends before we headed up the other end of the grounds…

Derek Brock added a great wedding ambience with gorgeous music form his acoustic guitar…

I love getting fun shots of kids:

Just before we handed everyone over to The Moat House we took Sian and Tim around the top end of the grounds:

I think I will always love our signature lake shot at the Moat House, and it’s even better with the daffodils out!

Another of Beki’s:

I couldn’t resist getting up-close on the daffodil action:

The Acton Suite looked stunning set out for the wedding breakfast complete with matching chair cover highlights and table theme:

Thank you for starting my 2010 wedding season in style Sian and Tim, hope you both have a great honeymoon! See you in a fortnight!
