Rachel and Alex are one of the craziest (in a very good way I must add!!) couples I have ever had the pleasure of working with and it truly was a proveledge to get to know them, share their wedding with them and their friends and family, and to produce the stunning story you see below!
Rachel and Alex booked me from the bridal fayre at Sandon Hall, the venue for their wedding, and although we only spoke a few times before meeting to finalise all the details and their final package about four weeks before the wedding we hit it off straight away. I found out on the day that Rachel and Alex actually met each other whilst both studying up in Liverpool, at a Retro bar! And this connection definitely links most of their friends and family together too as the party on the night was absolutely steamin’ with the retro tunes playing all night long!!
The day started at Francesco’s Hairdressers in Stone and although some of the regulars in the hairdressers gave me a strange look or two it really set the tone for the day – chilled with lots of fun and laughs…

I love Rachel’s expression here – think it totally captures her personallity!!

After Francesco’s it was off for a walk through Stone to the make-up salon:

Unfortunately I had to leave Rachel before she could get into her dress but I couldn’t resist this shot when I saw the shoes sitting on the bed. Okay so I may have had to put the left shoe on-top of the other but it was worth it! The Bridal Suite at Hanley really did provide a stunning gown…

And Alison Omara from just down thr road from Rachel and Alex in Stone really matched exactly what they were looking for with the stunning palette in the bouquets…

What a wicked way to arrive at a wedding – squashed into an original Mini Cooper borrowed from your old man! Fantastic!!

The boys rented their suits from Greenwoods in Hanley – I think it’s safe to say they did a good job!

No prize for spotting the family resemblance here:

The Library at Sandon Hall is a stunning setting for a civil ceremony. With the windows looking over the stunning gardens and the beautiful character of the room could you really wish for more…?

The Beauford and the Mercedes from Phil at Heritage Cars looked as stunning as always outside Sandon:

Who said you can’t have a bit of fun with group shots?

What a great setting for a wedding. We were definitely blessed with the weather on Saturday!!

It doesn’t matter where I go in the country, this is still my favourite staircase to photograph:

Mom certainly did a great job of the cake!

I love the expressions and moments you get during speeches. Definitely one of my favourite times of the day:

The Saloon at Sandon also looks pretty awesome when Ade gets the lights going for the part too!

Classic!

It would have been rude not to take advantage of this incredible sky wouldn’t it?

And for a change I was there at the end of the night for Rachel and Alex’s last dance and it was a lovely moment to capture.

Thank you for letting me share your wedding with you – can’t wait to present you with your stunning album! Yet another Bellissimo – they are popular this year!!
