I have just finished the design of one of the best weddings I have ever photographed! Gemma and Steve are such an amazing couple and I had an absolute blast with them!
Gemma and Steve were married on Saturday at Haughton Church and it was such a beautiful day – it’s safe to say I thoroughly enjoyed sharing ‘The Fishers’ special day with them and the photos look absolutely stunning…
As has been the wonderful trend this year, Gemma and Steve have chosen the sublime Jorgensen Album in which to present their story and the order was sent to Gary and the gang in Perth on 5th July (less than 38hrs after finishing shooting!!) and I simply cannot wait to share it with you all!!
In the meantime, here is a mammoth post of their wedding…

Short in the rain – only in England!

I loved the lighting in the kitchen where Gemma was having her make-up done.

I love the expressions and action going on here:

Gemma had her dress from the wonderful Mix’n'Match in Rugeley – the best bridal shop in the town!

Pat Cooper did a fantastic job of the flowers as always.

I couldn’t resist this shot of the shoes with that reflection!

Steve and the boys chose Kevin Paul of Hednesford for their suits and they were fitted to his usual impeccable quality:

I loved the rich warm colours in the church. The lighting on Gemma for this shot was absolutely amazing:

What a wicked confetti shot!!

Always a stunning shot:

I love how the staff at the Moat House had set the room for the Wedding Breakfast. So simple and elegant with the flower displays by Pat Cooper looking awesome:

I’m always so happy when the speeches are as awesome as Gemma and Steve’s were…

As Steve is an only child his dad decided to give a speech too and why not?!

I think they were trying to drop subtle hints with the books they gave Gemma and Steve!

The Cartoon Kings were a great band for the party!!

Thank you so much for such a great day guys. I have a distinct feeling this is going to be one of my top weddings for 2009 and could well be a show album for the new year!!
