Gemma and Adrian | Barton Marina, Burton-upon-Trent || Engagement Session

A few weeks ago I had a great time at Barton Marina with the gorgeous Gemma and Adrian who I introduced you to a few days ago, and I’m really looking forward to sharing these photos with you all.

Working in such a relaxed and natural way, exploring a setting and how a couple interact with each other is definitely one of the best things about engagement sessions, and it’s a fantastic way to get to know us and we you before the wedding day. Also having the extra time without the time constraints of a wedding just makes everything even more fun!

Jude and Rich | Walsall Arboretum || Pre-Wedding Session

A couple of days ago it was back to Walsall Arboretum for a pre-wedding portrait session with Jude and Rich who are getting married in a few weeks time at the stunning Moor Hall, Sutton Coldfield.

Jude and Rich are such a bubbly couple, though before the shoot they were definitely quite nervous about having their photos taken. However, after spending an hour together around the Arboretum, and them seeing the results this morning, I know they now cannot wait for their wedding to come!

Emma and Jon | Edgmond Church and Hadley Park House || Wedding Slideshow

Emma and Jon were married last September at the stunning village church in Edgmond with their reception held at one of my favourite local venues – Hadley Park House.

2009 – our favourite images from a fantastic year! || Slideshow

2009 was an absolutely fantastic year for us – one with great weddings, many commercial shoots with the building of several relationships, the visiting of old clients and photographing their new-additions with the photos of little Jack Richardson and Thomas O’Connor and meeting some amazing new people from the photography world leading from the [b] school including Laura and Pete Lawson, Hayley Ruth, Stewart Randall, the boys from 3b media, Jennifer Clare and not to forget the guys from north of the border Chris MacKenzie and James Pearson and the guys down south, the lovely Davenports and not to forget MrF and everyone else from the [r]Network – it’s been a pleasure to meet you guys and I’m sincerely looking forward to our next GTG in London!

It is great sometimes to take a step back from how you do things and take on others thoughts and ideas, and from the many people I have met this year, both from the world of photography and other friends and associates, so much has changed possitively for us in 2009. When I worked with David Pullumon a lovely Asian wedding in Walsall I took a refreshing look at a different approach and as I’m sure you’ll see by the end of 2009 my work has definitely shifted slightly and our new style really is OURS!

A shift to Canon gear for much of our 2010 work will see a continued improvement in the way we work and I really am so incredibly excited to get stuck in to this year.

In the meantime, sit back and enjoy my favourites from 2009 – a year that has been absolutely fantastic to us.

Eleni and Kyri | Greek Engagement Leicester || Engagement

On Sunday I photographed a gorgeous Greek Engagement in Leicester, starting at Abbey Park with the reception at the stunning Leicester Marriot Hotel.

Eleni and Kyri are an absolutely stunning couple and I cannot wait for their wedding next year!
We had a great time on Sunday and the photos both at the park and during the Engagement Ceremony and the night and I just know they are going to love the photos when they’ve seen them!

I had such an amazing time photographing Eleni and Kyri’s Greek Engagement in Leicester. I can’t wait to photograph their Greek Wedding next year!!
