Weston Park is quite simply my favourite venue I have worked across the whole coutry. Steeped with character and style from the driveway to the gardens, the marble hallway to the beautiful orangery, it really is a stunning place to work and one I love being at.
I last worked at Weston Park on Georgina and Simon’s wedding – a couple who have since become close friends which is quite simply fantastic! When Bec and Paul booked me for their wedding at St Andrews Church and Weston Park I was really looking forward to being back!
Bec and Paul are an absolutely lovely couple and they are so in love it’s great to be able to share their day with them. We were very lucky on their day with the weather and we had a great time. Here are a few of my favourites from the day:
Lynne Palfreymann did a beautiful job with the bouquets as she always does. I’m sure she’ll get herself as the main florist for Weston Park soon!
I love how Bec had her shoes engraved with the date of the wedding on them.
What a stunning gown Bec had. She chose the gown from the Wedding Parlour in Bridgtown and I think it was perfect for her!
I really do love the 17-35mm f2.8 on the Nikon D3 – what a great lens!
The boys were all suited and booted by Nic Smith of Brierley Hill.
It’s the little girl in the mirror that caught my eye with this image – just adding that extra dimension to the shot…

I’m not sure what was said here but Bec’s mom obviously found it amusing!
Bec is a designer, and incidentally designed and custom-made her own Bridal Lingerie for the day!, and she also designed all of the wedding stationery and did an amazing job too. If she takes it up full time I will definitely be recommending her and also using her gorgeous ideas for our future literature…
