Lisa and Nick | Madeley Court, Telford || Wedding

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of helping out an old friend photographing a wedding with him at the stunning Madeley Court Hotel, Telford.

Lisa and Nick are an absolutely great couple and although I hadn’t met them before the day as it was Phil’s wedding to photograph I hit it off with them straight away and had a great time sharing their wedding – and grabbing quite a few photos too!

My friend put all the photos together and edited them in his own style but I couldn’t resist sharing a few of my favourites with you here!

Hope you enjoy!

Thank you for letting me share your special day with you both Lisa and Nick – it was great for me to be there and help Phil, after all the years of guiding him and helping in photography it was great to be part of his first (maybe only – he didn’t like the pressure too much I don’t think!!) wedding!

All the best for the future!

Marie and James | The Church of the Holy Trinity + The Moat House || Wedding

Last month I had the pleasure of sharing a lovely wedding at the Church of the Holy Trinity in Sutton Coldfield with the reception at the ever popular and stunning Moat House.

Marie and James actually live in Bournemouth now but they chose to get married closer to home and I’m really glad because the wedding was fantastic to be part of. Marie and James were another couple who found me through the Moat House as their recommended photographer – having a personal recommendation from a wedding venue is so much more valuable than any printed advertising, and as soon as we met each other I just knew we would have a great time on their day.

Here are a few of my favourites from the wedding, hope you enjoy.

Liz Wainhouse did a beautiful job of the flowers in the church.

Marie’s mom chose traditional Oriental dress and the colours were absolutely amazing.

The Colin Lewis Suite looked beautiful decked out for Marie and James’ wedding breakfast – and after photographing and sampling the food last year I know it would have been amazing!!

Marie and James | The Church of the Holy Trinity + The Moat House || Wedding Preview

On Sunday I was back at the Moat House for an absolutely beautiful wedding – Marie and James.
The wedding ceremony took place at The Church of The Holy Trinity, Sutton Coldfield – and absolutely beautiful church with a lovely Father preciding, Gerry Breen. It had been a while since I had the pleasure of photographing a Roman Catholic Ceremony and I absolutely love photographing them. There is such a beauty to the ceremonies, along with being in such beautiful buildings, and although Marie and James chose not to have a full mass it was a lovely ceremony to photograph.

The rest of the photos, including so many more beautiful moments from the ceremony, the arrivals and so many gorgeous portraits of the Bride and Groom at the Moat House will be coming later this week, but for now here are just a few of my favourites for you to enjoy…

Lisa and Nick | Madeley Court, Telford || Wedding Preview

On Saturday I had the pleasure of helping out an old friend photograph a wedding at the stunning Madeley Court Hotel, a stunning venue steeped in history and romance…

Phil has been a friend for a good few years after I photographed his wedding with my father back in the summer of 2004. Since Phil and Nic’s wedding we have photographed a whole sequence of friends weddings culminating in Ali and Dave’s gorgeous wedding in May 2008 at Combermere Abbey Glasshouse – a stunning way to end an incredible set of weddings!

Lisa and Nick are friends of another wedding I photographed in the set – Fay and Ade who were married in 2007 at the very same venue, Madeley Court.

Although not the lead photographer on the day it was great to be able to capture a beautiful set of photos for Phil to incorporate into their story – and what a story it is going to be…

Here are just a couple of photos to whet your appetites…more coming later this week…

Sian and Tim | St Chads Lichfield and The Moat House || Slideshow

Sian and Tim were married on the 27th March at the lovely St Chads Church in Lichfield – a gorgeous little church that for some reason we’re only ever at every few years! Their reception was held in the Acton Suite at the gorgeous Moat House in Acton Trussell – our most popular and one of our absolute favourite venues to work throughout the UK…

The day was absolutely beautiful with the lovely spring sun coming through and just a couple of days before the wedding the daffodils coming out into bloom. I’m sure you’ve already seen the full post from the wedding, if you haven’t it’s here, and I think it’s safe to say we all had a fantastic time!

Beki also came out with me on this wedding and had a great time shooting on the D3 whilst I was rocking my newly beloved 5DmarkIIs, and she got some great shots too!!

Here is a slideshow of my favourites from Sian and Tim’s day to music by the amazing Cinematic Orchestra; if you like the track on the slideshow please click here to find the track on iTunes!

Enjoy!

If you’re a friend of Sian and Tim’s their photos will soon be live on the client area so head over after the 15th April! The password is their surnames – any problems with logging in just contact us through the form above!
